Stock Control Enhancements:
Cim200 Manufacturing integrates seamlessly with Sage 200 Stock Control, using the same familiar interface. New features include detailed stock profiles with current and projected levels, a quick-entry stock movements screen, and an audit log tracking amendments. Additional functionality includes quality checks for received or manufactured stock and goods in transit, streamlining stock management and reducing processing time.
Bill of Material Enhancements:
Cim200 Bill of Material enhancements allow you to tailor your manufacturing system to your business needs. New features improve production efficiency across various environments, including multiple routes for production lines to adapt to changing demands, and Percentage BOM functionality for accurate production in food, chemicals, and ingredient-based manufacturing. Kit BOM streamlines kitting and dispatch processes. All updates integrate seamlessly with Sage 200’s familiar interface.
Commercials Enhancements:
Sage 200 Commercials has been enhanced to improve quotation accuracy and order processing. Cim200 allows you to create fully costed, flexible quotations with ad-hoc bills of material and quantity-based price breaks. Additional features include quick access to stock profiles during sales or purchase order creation, using supplier/customer part numbers, and viewing linked works orders. Other improvements include a quick text library, better sales order scheduling, and the option to allocate works orders on purchase order receipt.
Planning:
Ensure you meet customer demand efficiently with Cim200 Planning. The module consolidates demand from all areas—sales orders, works orders, stock levels, and sales forecasts—into a single, easy-to-manage screen. It provides a complete view of required finished goods and components, allowing you to adjust suppliers or quantities as needed to meet customer needs and optimize replenishments.
Works Orders:
The Cim200 Works Order module allows you to control and monitor all items in production. With powerful enquiry screens and documents, production staff can easily track each process. Production managers can use Cim200's capacity planning to ensure sufficient resources to meet demand. Designed for flexibility across industries, Cim200 Works Orders lets you focus on production, not software maintenance.
Graphical Scheduler:
With the Cim200 Graphical Scheduler, easily visualize your production schedule and manage shopfloor workload. Quickly schedule Works Order Operations and MRP Recommendations, grouping resources by labor, machine capacity, or both. Monitor shopfloor workload, resolve resource conflicts, and optimize the production plan to meet customer demands and improve efficiency.
Shop Floor Data Capture:
With Cim200 SFDC, you can harness the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of barcodes to streamline a wide range of stock and operational transactions. Issue component stock to works orders quickly, view job cards digitally, and process operations seamlessly from start to finish.

Capture the time taken at each stage of production while issuing the necessary components as you progress. Once completed, easily book finished items into stock, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient workflow management throughout the entire process.

Seamless Migration to Cim200 Manufacturing

CIM have developed seamless migration tools for Sage 200 Manufacturing, Cim50 Manufacturing, Sicon Manufacturing, Sage 1000 and Swan Manufacturing. One of the big challenges when changing your business critical systems is the time it takes and the effort required, especially when it comes to user buy-in.

This is why they’ve tried to simplify the whole process with the Cim200 Migration Utility. Simply stop working in your existing Manufacturing system at an agreed time (typically a Friday evening) and your Cim200 consultant will then migrate your data to Cim200. This typically takes a few minutes. They’ll then interrogate the migration logs, and utilise a suite of reports to ensure everything migrated correctly, and you can then start working in your new system straight away.

How would a typical migration project work?

Step 1
Test Migration
Your Cim200 consultant will take your existing Sage 200 Manufacturing system data and carry out a test migration. This data will also be used for training and testing.
Step 2
Training
This can be carried out in a variety of formats, depending on your preferences and organisational structure.
Step 3
Reports
Existing reports, documentation and layouts produced by your current system are reproduced in Cim200.
Step 4
Testing
You carry out testing and familiarisation exercises to ensure you are happy with the migration and are familiar with Cim200.
Step 5
Live Migration
They’ll migrate your live data, and then provide post go-live support on site to help you through your first day or two using the new system.
Depending on the system you are migrating from, a typical migration project to Sage 200 Manufacturing takes 4-8 weeks.
